Nice, how as the install. Their new kit is bolt on right? Does it bolt to all factory holes?

If you're looking for whoops, dunes, jumps, etc then Knolls, UT, about an 1-1.5 hours out of Salt Lake City on the west side is full of LT playground. Just had a big race out there with UTVs and 9 cars all the way to unlimited trucks. I'm not LT, but I'd be down to play tour guide.

its bolt on but only maybe two of the holes lined up on each bracket to where you could put a bolt in, so you had to oval/drill out the holes in the frame a lot to get it to fit the bolts, and another thing to anyone that might get this kit, it doesn't come with any hardware or limit straps or brake lines or spring perches so you'd have to get all of that yourself. Just a heads up because it was a surprise to me that a kit for $2k doesn't even come with the bolts to "bolt" it on.

not concerned with the fab work involved just was surprised that one of the most expensive leaf spring kits for our trucks doesn't even come with a couple hundred more dollars worth of parts that are necessary for it to work.

I did the whole course on my drop in king suspension Tacoma with no issue. The 9 class cars have similar travel numbers. Just means you can't haul the mail at 100 mph through the whoops.

Thankfully I am somewhat speed limited by being big and heavy [at least until these gears drop in]. Sounds good -- I'll hit you up in a PM when we are headed that way! First 2 weeks of November, starting in Vegas and going through Utah [arches, canyonlands, etc]

That'll be a sweet trip, but like you said, I doubt you will see SLC. Kinda the wrong direction. Between Vegas and Moab is Zion, Capitol Reef, and Bryce Canyon NPs, plus a lot of cool "in the know" type stuff. Maybe even the top edge of Escalante depending on your route. Can't go wrong with any of it! November and December is a good month too since it isn't hot, and the tourist numbers have declined (from "shitshow" to "crowded"...)

Regardless, hit me up when you're out this way and maybe I could meet up with you guys over a weekend or whatever. Trade you some local beta for "Spotted Cow"

Finished my DK LT a few weeks ago. Still needs limit strap and cam tabs welded. Looking for used 2.5x8 bypasses if anyone's come across any. I appreciate it.

    Oh yeah on 37s too

Looks good. What's your plan for the rear? I've got a long traveled FJ too. Trying to figure out what's out there for rear long travel.

said no one ever... they still chunk like a mother fucker just like the KM2s did. Strictly aesthetic changes, I'll pass on BFG again unless its a race tire.

the rear of mine so far has been nice and works well for me.

3" Metal Tech LT springs, aftermarket lower links (still need uppers and panhard). 10" double bypasses on some custom mounts.

There's a 4runner completed by Dirt Designz on a short course type trailing arm. That would allow for dual shocks. Really considering that in the future. Bolt on options are really limited and won't match LT front well. But it's all in What you want to do with it
    Screenshot_2018-06-19-01-18-13-01.jpg

That looks good for what you're working with! Those bypass lower mounts hang super low huh? I felt like the OE location was already in bad territory. I always bashed my lower mount skid armor but that's what it's for right!

Thats Chris 4runner, his runner is pretty sick and performs amazing.

I kept the OEM lower mounting arms for the bypasses. I just cut that stupid stud off and then welded on a normal shock mount to the bottom of that OEM arm. I have yet to snag on anything.

Not yet, I put new gears in at the same time so I want to break those in first before I hit the dirt
