Any chance that tailgate is for sale?

 

I am not sure if it is still for sale, but it was for sale a month or so ago when I got my skids. I have seen this in person. If i had a better way to haul my kayak instead of with a tailgate extender i would've jumped on it. I didn't want to have to drive down the road with it open though. Good luck, hope you end up with it.

 

Thanks, I don't see it listed in the ad so figured I'd ask. I can't remember who made a small run of them, but they have the fold down table as well IIRC.

 

He gave me a list of stuff in PM, and the tailgate was mentioned in there. I would think it would still be available. I didn't get a price on it though, as it wasn't on my list of stuff i was interested in.

I can tell you that he made them, and may have made them for a few others. I know this is the 3rd version or so of it. He said he got all the little bugs worked out on this particular one, so it would be a good one to snag up. It swings open like a door if you weren't aware of that.

 

Yep, that's the one. Someone was selling one a few months back from PA and I just found the listing. It mentions @Urineovrurhead was the fabricator.

Like i said I think you are in luck, as i haven't seen much serious interest in it. I can say that I got the skids off the truck, and he did a really nice job on them. He is a little slow to respond, because he works a shitload of hours. Being patient was definitely worth it in my case, he is great to work with. Even helped me install the skids and remove my sway bar.
