How hard is it to change the lines themselves? I am interested, but have never changed them and so wounder about the effort.

You had me at "Goodridge". Have had a couple sets from different manufacturers on my car and they lasted about 6 months before they started to leak where the fitting meets the stainless braid. I then bought the real shit and forked out the twenty, yes twenty dollars more for the goodridge set. That was several years ago and they are still perfect. The problem I have now is that I have extended rear ss lines for the Taco but not the front ones. If I can get just fronts then I'm down widdis GB. If not then I'll need to sell the rears that I have (never installed yet) and get the full set here.

So, if I read this right, your vendor is actually going to be pressing the fittings onto the SS line correct? If so, then this does put us at the mercy of the vendor for the quality of the connections.

The previous poster had issues with the connection, not the line, if I read that correctly. Goodridge is not pressing the fittings on, the vendor is.

That's correct, but lines are under full warranty and the guy does great work and uses high quality products. He also tests the lines before releasing them.

I'd still like to know exactly who this guy is, the name of his shop, ect before I'd even consider the purchase. They look like quality lines, but once again as stated before... brakes (and tires) are the very last thing to cut corners on...

Also saying the guy works on race cars and such doesn't mean a lot in my book. There are a ton of 'race cars' that'll hit firebird on fridays and some of them are.... well.... yea.

Questions. I see 600 Hose -02 To -04 for: Brake and Clutch) but don't see any applications for Taco's. Do we just tell you what model we have or do we measure what we have and order the same ? I don't see a link for paypal. Do we order now or do we wait until you have a certain number of interested people. I'm not yelling at anyone. I copied "600 Hose -02 To -04 for: Brake and Clutch)" off the web site and then every thing I typed came out bold. Thanks. Curious George

I just gave the post a quick read. We have to tell you the fittings we want and length. I hope someone, with more knowledge then I have, comes up with a list because I have no idea what fittings to order and once he puts the fittings on the line that's it, finished, done, over, no going back, no redo. So if I specify the wrong fitting I'm f-cked. Please correct me if I'm wrong on any of this. Thanks.
