    hey guys,
Tomorrow I will be going to the dealer to order the trd exhaust. I figure I would sell my Wilco hitchgate solo as it’s never been taken out of the box. I’m pretty set on this one as I like the trd we put on the fj. A little louder but not obnoxiously loud. Not looking for a power increase. I can’t seem to find it one line so figure the dealer is the only place unless someone has a suggestion. Question is I was also thinking about getting the metallic orange trim for the interior around the dash as my Tacoma is inferno. Stupid idea or looks good to match? Right now it’s the silver/gunmetal.

They should be able to get a deal on that exhaust. The MSRP is a ripoff. Also you should be able to just call and order, no need to go in. I like the orange trim.

I like it because it breaks up the otherwise drab black/grey interior. Although I only like it there...painting other parts inferno are not my style.

Dumb question as I haven't bought the truck yet....does this come in colored trim and can be ordered as a part #? Or
its a customer mod where u remove the panel, get some spray paint from PepBoys and then paint it and fit it back?

    Thanks!

PS: I have a friend with a Wrangler Rubicon and has the red trim inside ..it looks pretty cool...may not be for everyone's taste but definitely a nice contrast and a head turner.

You can remove and paint or wrap and some have on the forum, but I believe the pro models do come with orange so the orange is a factory made unit you can get painted. I just like the idea of it color matched and my wife doesn’t so I thought maybe I would let the vote decide.

Painting trim inside reminds me of the Fast and Furious cars. Not my thing, makes it seem cheap to me.

In my Jeep, I plastidipped the AC vent rings red as an accent to break up the monotony of all grey interior. Before I bought it, I wanted to do the dash trim the same color as the exterior of my Tacoma so break up the monotony a little, but I ended up getting a MGM Tacoma and the grey inside looks good. If my Tacoma was Inferno, I would probably do it. I've also seen people paint theirs red and blue to match the exterior. I think it looks good.

i think there is a point where it can get gawdy, but for me when i go to do it, less is more. just something to break up that black/grey dash.

Mine came with the grey trim and I switched out to the orange. Agreed with @rlx02 that it breaks up a pretty grey interior but I wouldn't want the orange anywhere else inside. OP, if you like it, go for it

    Yeah.
Don't hate it or love it, but I think it looks good with Inferno. I wouldn't want it on other colors.
