Is this mount still a thing? People still using it. Those that still use this how’s it holding up long term?

Can the vent slats be oriented diagonally when installing the mount? I seen everyone seems to have the slats horizontal. I keepthem rotates diagonally to direct air right at me. I realize you can’t rotate after install but wasn’t sure if you can rotate to desired position prior to install or if it’s set at horizontal. I also seen some pictures of fully open slats with the mount, if that’s the case then why do others Demel for clearance?

    Discount still active?

I still love mine! It is one of my most used and favorite additions to my truck. Phone still goes in and out super easy while being held solid as a rock. I have my vents pretty much horizontal and half way open which I don't mind at all. If I want more air flow directly on me, I use the one right of the radio aimed vertically. They dremel for clearance to open and close the vent. Once it is set completely open, I don't think it has any movement without being uninstalled.

Got you so it’s Dremel to allow some movement ( almost close to not quite fully open) or install with it wide ass open and it stays that way.
I guess I need to figure out if I’d want my iPad Pro on the vent or just use the seat bolt option

Still doing these? I’m about to order the same exact radio and it seems like the cleanest option

@wileydavis do you have any updates on mounts for the 2nd gen? What about making something like the now defunct Balls Out Offroad mount? Personally, I would like it higher up on the dash than the Balls Out mount, but at this point just about anything is better than the bouncy suction cup arm I am using.

We figured one out for the 2nd gen 2012-2015. Its not on the website yet but will be soon. For some reason Toyota used 1 type of vent 05-11 then changed it up for 12-15.
