The universal rail is bolted to the top of the bedside, the thule bases slide to any location. You can also do yakima... any foot base that attaches to the universal rail

Hmm. Yeah not sure if they’re 4 or not, how much space is in between your UCAs and tire when the wheels are pointed straight?

Does anyone know how much difference in the turning radius of the wheel itself .25-.5" in the spacer would make?

I have 1.25" Spidertrax, and am considering going down to a 1" or .75" Bora. I'm wondering how significant the difference would be at the wheels radius. I'm sure there's some math to be done on this...

Let's see.. Biggest first, I suppose..

I resprayed the front bumper (finally). I'm going to use trim restore on the foglight housings and the rubber bits.
    Before [IMG]

    After [IMG]

I also replaced the fuses for my foglights and found that wasn't the problem so I'm going with shitty wiring. Does anyone know a better way to do these connections? Or a way to fix them? They're super touchy and the lights flicker at the slightest touch of the wires. [IMG]

A bunch but I can get you a measurement later if that's helpful. My wheels are 4.5 bs though so not sure if its apples to apples.
    Math camp for sure.

Not today, but Saturday... Haven't had a chance to post this yet. Ready for some carnage?? Here goes...

Building an addition to my shed, to store the kid's outdoors toys and patio furniture through the winter. Went to Lowe's to pick up supplies and used my 5x10 trailer. In the pile was a 4x4x12 that I had strapped down on the side of the trailer, so it wouldn't bounce around. Went to back into the driveway, forgot all about it, and BAM. OH THE CARNAGE! Suggested to the Mrs that it was time for a steel bumper... She wasn't very amused.

Damn how old is that bar? It hasnt weathered very good has it..

Ideally you would cut, splice, solder, heat shrink, and tape each one. You could try new Wire taps for each connection as a quicker solution tho. Ans cover up the old splice location with tape or something

Are these taller than KO2s? I got them in the same size with no rubbing at all.

I was kinda wondering the same thing. Another reason why the way tire sizes are measured is 110% stoopid :frusty:

Need some opinions 2010 TRD Sport Double Cab, with 16" TRD Bead Lock Wheels in Bronze that were Plastic Dipped Black by previous owner. The are in need of a redipping. Should I just peel the black off and run Bronze for a while, Do them over in Black or go to another color, was thinking of Red like Lefkos wheel in a post back aways in this thread. Little bored with black. Would consider Red because of TRD Red. Grey and Gunmetal are other considerations.

Toyota says my turning radius is 40.6 feet which is 487.2 inches. I just drew that circle and off set it by 1.25" I also have the spidertrax 1.25" spacer. Anyway that circle measures 489.7 inches. So if my logic is correct a 1.25 wheel spacer has added 2.5 inches to my turning radius. I feel if that was to easy to be correct. LoLsolid.jpg

BFG quotes the KO2 at 31.7" OD in 265/75/16; Cooper quotes the ST Maxx at 32.01" OD

Looking at where and how much I rub, that approx quarter inch is all the difference. Plus my cam bolts are siezed so my front left is outta whack, and I rub more on that side. My pax front tire only just nicks the front of the well.
