he did. Sold it to my mechanic then I bought it from him for $6k. 6 months later I surrendered it to Toyota and got my current tacoma.

Ah, they aren't that bad, when I did em I bought the Wit's End specialty tools to drive and remove them though. The way Toyota manual does it is stupid

 

I have all the special serivce tools. This one needs new abs sensors $700 for the fronts. Eek. Plus new shocks. New front u joints and the axle seals

 

I dunno man, I’d almost still rather a virgin truck.

Yeah that front end can add up if the owner doesn't keep up on it for sure. My ABS sensors I clean every time I grease the knuckles, OEM shocks are $120 for all four still so that's nice, you talking about new Birfields right, the OEM ones aren't worth the money, RCV is better. If it is a 91-94 you might as well upgrade to the 95-97 front hub ends and shafts.
