So for us North East guys Pure Performance (sister company to Rock Krawler) is getting ready to release their Toyota line. These guys are a big name in the Jeep and Heavy Duty truck world, and after nagging them enough (and prototyping a bit on my old truck) they’ve finally getting into our market. Plan is to release for the 4Runner, Tacoma, and Tundra. All of their shocks are extruded aluminum so they are super light, strong, dissipate heat fast, and bonus do not rust due to all the salt and shit we face in the winter. I ran them for 55,000 miles with no issues. Their upper control arms are all greasable ball joints so you don’t have to worry about uniballs rusting.
The plan is for many stages of shock packages, from mild to wild. And also specific setup for expedition guys.
I am putting this out here for if some of you guys are interested in this and I can reach out to see if he’ll do a group buy or something along those lines. I’ll post the same in the group buy page. I have no prices or specs but just looking for a count of curious ppl and possibly what type of setup. They are gonna do mid travel, multiple long travel, expedition style , and race type style setups

That's great on paper, but you have to get the truck really clean before applying something like that. Otherwise, as Jason said, you still get scratches if it slides around on the paint.

If you're not 100% committed to Boston, I'd highly recommend Burlington, VT. It's right on Lake Champlain which is awesome, has a great laid-back vibe to it, plenty to do in the region too.

Good breweries there. Restaurants too. I used to love spending weekends there when I was younger. UVM girls sure like to party!

Nice Evolved chassis Polaris!! I've had a bunch of Polaris sleds. A '95 600XLT wedge chassis, a '00 Indy 500XCSP and my beloved '02 700Edge X which was my first sled I bought brandy new. Went 14k miles with no engine work but 3 tracks, 2 skids.

I typically don't go for overly sweet things myself. That one actually wasn't as sweet as it looks. I'd rather eat the plain or lightly glazed donuts.

Honey Dew has a "Mocha Madness" donut, which is a chocolate glazed with maple frosting on top, then has chocolate icing striped across, and sometimes sprinkles. It's like guaranteed diabetes in every bite.

How’d you go through so many tracks? I just replaced the original track on my 97 Indy classic 500 because I wanted to. Didn’t need to, but wanted a bigger lug. My 00 xcsp 600 needed a new track, so I did that too.

That '98 was my last sled. Sold it a couple years later when I bought my house. Haven't ridden since. And I used to ride a LOT.
That was a fun machine, esp after I put pipes and a tri-angle helix in.

While going deep into the archives, I found a pic of my very first one.
It was so light compared to the modern machines.
After we tweeked around with it, she was able to pop the skis from a dead stop.

    good times...

I know what you are saying, I don't have pictures but I remember when sleds were sold at Sears and came in a box that two people could load into the back of the station wagon. We actually used to use the old grocery getter as the sled hauler. Two SnoPonys fit in the back no problem. This is not mine but what I started out on:

    What travel? o_O
Half the challenge of riding those sleds was to bring plenty of spark plugs for the ride.

    @jethro
The sled in front is a '94 XCR 600 Factory prototype my friend had.
That was a sick sled back then. First sled I went over 100mph on.
