I was wondering about the radius of the wheel turning itself though, like, within the wheel well (as opposed to the turning radius of the truck itself), if that makes sense.

 

That figure makes sense to me, since the 1.25 inches is being added to the outside of the circle twice. your outside tire would start 1.25 inches farther out at the start, and end 1.25 farther than stock on the other side as well.

Now if you rubbed enough that you wouldn't / couldn't go to full lock, etc that would change it much more drastically.

 

Tell her the guys on TW say you cant be part of the club anymore until that is replaced with a steel bumper! That should do the trick!

Finally got around to installing my stage 4 icon kit and my pelfrey steel bumper

Got the Grandkids off to school, the dog to the groomers, got some special food for Grandkids, Picked up dog at Groomers. Had some quiet time so did some decals on the truck Flag was supposed to on the front doors but F'd one up on the tailgate it goes. Put the door sill protector decals on also. Back in my other life I worked for CHP equipping Patrol cars. Got pretty at putting decals on Door and Deck, Tailgates. Worst were the 80's Mutangs had to get the Star to fit over ribs where the moulding were supposed go. Bottle of Soapy water and a rubber squeegee, If you screwed up and it dried you repainted to door as they didn't come off easy.

 

Dump those crummy wire taps. Cut the wires and solder them together. Also use heat shrink on them to protect them. Just don't forget to put the heat shrink on before soldering. Ask me how I know. Those wire taps are about the shittiest connection you can do.

 

It would sit in 1/4" from where it does now.

 

Always better to ask forgiveness than permission. It's worked with every mod so far. Can't return it, it's been mounted, sorry babe.

 

Got a wild hair and decided to debadge the rig. I'll get to the tx trd decals soon, but for now I'm happy with the results.

lol I know that! I'm talking about the outer radius of the wheel's arc as it turns inside the wheel well. like, since the 1.25" space pushes the wheel out 1.25", what difference does that make in the wheel's arc as it goes through its range, compared to a smaller spacer, or no spacer at all?
