That’s a shit load of work. My recommendation would be to plastidip them in place. You just tape off a rectangle around them, dip them, and it peels off, leaving only the letters black. Then you use a toothpick to get out the dip in between certain letters, like A or O.

Either that or debadge completely. That’s my recommendation based off personal experience.

Warm with a hair dryer, and use some fishing line or floss and saw off the badges. Then use finger nails and goo gone to get off the adhesive.

If your truck is like mine (since we’re both 05) I had a nice “Tacoma” outlined in dirt that I could NOT get off. What I ended up having to do was use some cutting compound followed with polish and wax to get it off.

They look cool! I'm gonna wait to get a bit more before peppering the roof.

He's pumped. 97 sr5 4x4, every power option works. 200k on the motor, 348k in the body, $2100

Agreed, it's missing some trim pieces here and there but the frame is extremely clean for a 21 year old vehcile.

He's already sent me links to a Pro Comp kit, 5100s, and then the full OME kit.

It's got mismatched tires so he wants to replace those first, so he should go ahead and lift it as well. His wife ain't happy

Did he go the forgiveness or permission route with this purchase?

He got permission, but she thinks it's a PoS

Is that why you fled to Niagra Falls?
