    Sweet! Stoked for you!

Ya I wish I could have surfed more but I had a great trip regardless. I surfed Pyramids on base with my friends boyfriend. He only has 5'10 boards cuz he's real short. So I took out his 5'10 New Flyer. I was able to get up but it was just so squirlly under me I just didn't do well. I wish I had had my Fever out there, it was beautiful. But the Fever felt real good under my feet today. Hoping to score some good waves tomorrow. Could have gotten barreled today, but I suck backside and just couldn't round out my bottom turn in time to get back in the pocket

Backside tube riding is tricky, but once you get your pig dog down it becomes real easy. Pyramids is a super fun wave. Surfed it last time I was there. We were staying with friends who are in the coast guard. I got it real good, pretty much heaving tubes. Yeah the sliced foot pissed me off something real. I missed like 4 good swells. Seems like all of august there was surf. I took the 5’10 out today. Its kinda buckled so Im gonna go pick up a new one later today.

Nah the one in Santa Ana. That’s where I get all my suits. They usually have a good selection. The last time I went though they were almost all out so hopefully they got more in stock

It’s gettin chilly. I couldn’t trunk it yesterday. I was good in my 2:2 short sleeve suit. But I know I’m a month or so it’ll cool down more and I’ll be miserable haha

went with a zipperless E Bomb pro. Was debating on getting a flash bomb but felt it’d be way too warm and if it’s that cold I’ll just deal with the 4:3

need to learn more about this stuff
i HATE zipperless. have some buddies who like them. but i am not a contortionist. feel like i have to pop a shoulder to get out of them. i have a 2mm short arm long leg that is zipperless and have to have help getting it off. can't imagine a 3/2 like that.
but maybe they have gotten better since the first year they came out?

I'll never get anything other than a tailored wetsuit anymore. My 3/2 kept me warm when I surfed in Humboldt in the middle of February. It's crazy how much of a difference a fitted wetsuit with top level neoprene makes...but it can be a pain in the ass to get out of sometimes because it's zipperless and fits so well lol

My friends think im crazy, but the front zips these days put a lot of extra neoprene on one shoulder and give me shoulder problems. There is a trick to getting into n out of zipperless. Personally i love em and i have much more freedom. I despise back zips n the velcro neck rash

It's basically the same exact in/out as a chest zip - the only difference is you just hold back the top part. I find it no harder than a regular chest zip. I'll never go back to zippers on my wetties.
The 3:2 flashbombs are insanely warm. I was dripping in sweat after having it on for all of 30 seconds. I asked the guy who works there if he'd surfed in both the EBomb (what I got) and the flashbomb. He said he got a 3:2 flashbomb to replace his 4:3. Wetsuit technology has come a long way.

That's actually what I had before my current suit. Went from an E-bomb to a Flash bomb. My only gripe was that it didn't hold up very well after about a year, and that was with rinsing and drying away from the sun. Might have been unlucky, but it is what it is.

I've never had any issues with mine. Maybe bad luck. I think @Prayn4surf told me he had similar issues with his ripcurl suit. I love their fit though the most and I always buy from the outlet so I get em for a fairly decent price. My 4:3 held up 2 years and is still in good shape, it's just too hot to wear. So I bought a 2:2 shortsleeve full suit. Then that got hot so I got a 2mil shortsleeve top. And now it's cooling down again so I know I'll need to bridge that 2:2 shortsleeve and 4:3 fullsuit gap for winter

Where do you get a custom suit? Never heard of getting a custom wetsuit before. But also never really looked in to it
