It's really weird, but when I take naps (and sometimes when I sleep at night), I can hear myself snoring. It's like I'm in this half sleep/half awake state where I can hear and feel myself snoring.

    Anyone else experience this?

It doesn't happen to me very often, but it has happened. It's kind of weird and it wakes me up.

yeah! that's exactly it! I thought I was the only one. Does that mean anything? I've been really tired and stressed lately, is it related?

Maybe. It usually happens to me on the couch if I start to dose off. Then I hear myself snore and it wakes me up. It's only happened to me 5 or 6 times in my life. So, I really don't have a clue why.

some of this, a little of that
sometimes I will wake myself up with my own snoring, and scare the crap out of me at the same time. My wife thinks it is pretty funny to see me do it.

I don't snore, but my dad does the same thing. He'll be dozing off then the next thing you know he jumps from waking himself up.

The noise and vibrating bed are what wakes ME. The smell is what wakes the wife. Meanwhile the dog's just happy we're both now awake.
