I didn't say shit about you tuning your own truck.

Here you go, dude. Stock (non-linear) vs OV Tune (linear):

    Enjoy your non-linear throttle-by-wire, chief.

Yes, I assumed you just recently learned all these things/terms in an OV thread. You mad because I don’t notice it, and think I need a tune? Thank you for your colorful graphs, and I will def enjoy my truck.

Pretty funny coming from the guy who took it personally that I think the 4 banger that I own could use a tune. Sorry I insulted your perfect truck.

    I’m gonna humor you.

    Cliffs notes-
I quote somebody, and state I don’t see the value in a tune

This guy quotes me, stating a tune would indeed help a throttle issue he’s been convinced actually exists

I respond saying nah, I don’t feel it.

Guy then infers I’ve never driven anything other than throttle by wire.

I respond that I have and do.

He then responds with a colorful graph, proceeds to meltdown slightly.

I respond that I will in fact enjoy my truck

Guy then says he doesn’t care what I do with my truck, after trying desperately to explain to me in his best OV tune voice what non linear means, not unlike a cult member

I sarcastically state that it was so totally obvious.

    As hominem attack- “idiot”

More melting down. Stay tuned, this dude could go full ape shit because I told someone else that a tune for the 2.7 was essentially worthless.

It’s my weekend, I just put new brakes on my bike, my day was good. But we’re here, now. My day is irrelevant. I want to see more graphs of what you THINK a non linear throttle might feel like, expressed in colors. More of those, please.

Ok. I’m going to apologize, to ME, on YOUR behalf, since you were out of line. I accept, and I think highly of you for pointing the finger inward instead of outward, for a change. Were doing big things here.

Just searched the service manual. Definitely no clutch accumulator on the 5 speed R156F tranny in 2.7L Tacos.

Yeah, service manual was for my 3rd gen. Maybe an aftermarket clutch will improve the feel on mine, since there's no accumulator to delete.

Whoa! Glad we threw the helm hard over and missed that off-topic iceberg.

Uh, there is a slight list to starboard in here though. Meh, just ignore it.

Finally got a full and real drive in on my new clutch this morning. ~22 mile commute to work.
In spite of the lack luster hp/tq, and all the armor and heavy LT Grabbers, the truck has a new lease on life! Power is actually going to the wheels for once!

Can't recommend getting the LCE Pro Clutch Kit enough. https://www.lceperformance.com/Pro-Clutch-Kit-2TR-2-7-LITER-2005-2017-10-p/1053084.htm

At least it is one less thing to mod? I can't imagine what is causing the weird feel for you guys.
