I don't think any HU have wireless Android auto do they?

But yes, bringing the FJ into the 20th century with Android auto, backup camera, dash cam integrated with the head unit, and 6 new speakers to replace the stockers.

Maybe someone dropped a supercharger on it when you weren't looking.

I didn't even realize. Not much more than the HU I got:
    https://www.crutchfield.com/p_113DDX9904/Kenwood-Excelon-DDX9904S.html?tp=20217&omnews=9367374

I was poking around and Kenwood has a dash cam that integrates right into the HU, which is why I went with it for simplicity.

I ripped the original one at about 3500 miles, no idea why, it was studded to the max so maybe that contributed. The 2nd one I bought used, which was obviously a mistake, it developed a strange "ice zit" within a few thousand miles, like a big bubble between the layers that would freeze and expand. I do a lot of multi-day backpack trips so while I probably could have cut it out and kept it, I changed it out to a brand new Ripsaw II.

Oh god yeah. My Tacos both had 6' beds but no issue. One ski will sit on the wheel well and you'll look goofy but it works no problem. I carried my Renegade 137" track in my Gen 2 many times. It will sag the springs and every time I unloaded it I wondered if the tailgate would break off but it never did.

Oh, and be careful of your tail lights!!! I broke 3 of them while loading my sleds over the years! Don't know if the new ones are different but the plastic tail light lens goes right to the edge of the bed which seems STUPID to me.

.....I mean I don't consider myself old, but I have no idea what kids are into these days.

Dang, sounds like a 121 should be a littler easier then, not having reverse will suck though, but maybe eventually I’ll install reverse, or just buy a newer sled with it!
