I do love Fall. I hate the fact that I was fine yesterday and woke up with a head and chest cold starting, sore throat, and cant talk much today though

I don't know. That's just how it is referred to now by the younger crowd, maybe "tossing salad" got old? I don't really know

glad you like the videos. tried getting some good angles the best i could. Maybe some day you can get videos of me... after some upgrades of course. Nice meeting you and your son as well. My wife said she was impressed with your driving skills getting through the cave.

Btw for us fishing folks . Heard a good one the other day. Had a guy reffer to a Carp as a Sewer Salmon

 

Tell her thanks but most of it has to do with the spotting. You can't see the obstacle once you get up to it so you gotta rely on what the spotter is telling you

 

Never used reverse for loading or unloading. To load, I would find a snowbank, drive the sled and park it on top of the snowbank with the skis hanging over and hopefully higher than the bed height. Then I'd back my truck up to the skis with the tailgate down. Drive the sled straight in, like I said one ski will ride over the wheel well. 1 strap around the rear bumper is fine, it's not going anywhere unless the truck rolls. Then when you want to unload just undo the strap and give a tug on the rear bumper and drop the puppy right to the ground, it won't hurt anything. Since the ski is over the wheel well, it will slide right out with barely any effort.

 

X2, we had 2 John Deere sleds and always had to take spare belts and spark plugs with us. 5he older one had a panty hose as an air filter.

 

One in the bed and 2 in the enclosed trailer. With all three of us and all our gear it pulled us just fine up to Rangeley ME

IDK, it's still 95 degrees here. And I've been told it won't get "cold" until late November-ish. I'm in heaven!

Plus, a jack and coke is $6.50, in Boston it was closer to $15.

 

Doesn’t look bad at all! I love riding up north, but unfortunately without a reliable sled, since mine blew up last year and I bought a new engine and tore them both down, I don’t dare do any heavy riding without friends or someone who could potentially tow me home if needed.
