I think you are absolutely correct on the fab skills. I don’t have any of those. It’s definitely something I need to learn. 3 iterations of suspension in 7 years is a lot. If I ever change these up I know who I am going to for advice on which direction to go next

My wife just called me a horny old man. It's not my fault if a perfect hole on a piece of toast gets me excited.

Do you think he will have to trim to make them fit.

Waiting for this guy to message me about the bike.

@Enjoihavok I should be able to upgrade some of the parts right? Or are some parts bike specific?

Pretty much everything on a bike is upgradeable just depends what pieces your going trying to upgrade too, some tech out now may not be able to fit the older bike frames, but you can just buy an older piece of tech that is an upgrade from what you have now, that will still be good.

Just think about what your wanting to upgrade if you start spendinng $400-700 in upgrades you might as well hold off and buy a different bike.

You can definitely upgrade anything you want, very few parts will be bike specific. Basically the way bikes work is that there is a Frame (Brand Specific) and the frame company chooses a component group-set (Shimano XT/XTR etc... or SRAM X5/X0 etc...) that will work well together in a package at a certain price point. Once the consumer gets the bike and things wear/break/user wants to upgrade, parts are changed out. Similar idea to cars, when shocks wear you can replace with OEM or go with an upgrade. Same with tires/wheels etc...

Lightly tossed the idea of maybe getting into a 2nd gen and buying a turbo rzr as well but I doubt it. I really want to get one around February of next year. Don’t really care to put more money into the Taco. If not just keep the truck obviously

The upgrades were going to be if anything started to fail. I just want to hit the trails. I might upgrade small things here and there
