Guess that’ll make the jump from 1.04 to 1.05 that much more awesome

 

1.04R is really great... shifts have never been smoother. It does change up far too quickly but it also has get up and go when it does change, I don't feel like it changes and then has no more acceleration.

As others have said, if 1.05 gives us more torque/throttle opening (as per Mat's 5th gear comment) then it'll be incredible.

 

I swear after a few thousand miles on 4R my truck has gotten stupid again, especially from a stop to 40mph. I'm not sure 4R completely killed "learning". I may re-flash 4R this weekend and see if it gets un-stupid.

Same for me. Try driving in S5 or S6. Mine drives little better in S mode. I haven't try re-flashing, because 1.05 will be here SOON

 

why only 35s? the cool kids run 37s or 40s these days

So we must be looking at an October release for 1.05? The OVT FB page said the logger will be October, and Mat has said that 1.05 and logger are coming out together.

 

My guess would be a Halloween-ish

 

The logger is functional which means 1.05 can drop now
