Howdy, I currently have a 2012 access cab, but looking at getting that new new cement here very soon. I have been doing some research, and I'm sure it's been asked before, but I figured I'd make sure about it. The guys at the dealership told me they could fit a 285/70/17 ko2 without any lift, just stock—and no rub. I found this one, which I would like to basically mirror, and he claimed that it was stock. I love how the cement one sits. Any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance!

285's will definitely rub! If the dealership makes them fit they will surely put a crappy spacer lift on it & charge you the price of a full blown coil over suspension lift.

    Here is the final answer:

    265/70/17 OR 265/75/16

That’s what I thought. Thanks for the insight. Sorry if this is a repeated question.

Not a snowballs chance in hell that a 285/70/17 will fit stock with no rub unless you start cutting a LOT of stuff. I run that tire with a 2.5” lift, and some cutting and I still rub occasionally

Not sure. Couldn’t see the sticker when I zoomed in on their post and it’s since been sold

I have the 3” on my truck now and there isn’t rub but I was sure they were mistaken thinking it’d fit in there
