Can I mooch off this thread? I have a 12" sub that used to be in my car (many years ago) but I would now like to integrate into my sound system at home (it would be hidden). Does anyone know of a cheap single channel subwoofer amp that runs on 110v, maybe 250w or more? It seems to be a unicorn, my searches only result in multi-channel home theater systems. Thanks!

See “Parts Express”: “Dayton Audio”. I got my 1000R about 10 years ago, it has not given me any problems. It’s a mono, digital amp, with EQ functions, 1000 watts. Last I saw it was about $400.
