Tough break! A dehumidifier will dry out everything inside- carpet, seat cushions; if it stays wet too long you’ll get a musty odor. Dehumidifiers are at Walmart/Target/ or any store similar to these.

    Good luck with repairs.

I wish I had your confidence. I wiggled one of the tabs to see just how hard it would be to remove the grill, and it broke. I couldn't imagine trying to work them all loose without breaking any.

Blizzaks are soft that's why they stick but you're right warm weather is not their friend. I swap out my tires and wheels for winter driving so for me it's not really an issue. Blizzaks are my choice for winter driving in New England, I'm extremely satisfied with them.

Yes, it is red plasti dip with their gloss. Correct, use no metal on the catch, wood or plastic on plastic.

I did it when I installed my faux Pro grill. Went slow, taking my time (after watching several YouTube videos) and never broke anything.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Should have come this way from the factory. Well done sir!

What tool(s) did you use on the tabs?

If you are talking about the wheel caps. I went for broke. I dremel'd the tabs on the back that hold the logo on. I then painted them and epoxy'd back in place. Just a dot or two on the back. I'd have to dremel again to get them off again, but doable should i need to. Happy with the result...

You could also just mask off about 1" away from the logo and plastdip, then pick off with a tooth pick. Would work well since logo is separate from cap.

If doing the grille, take it off. 4 screws.

I know many here derp their grille, but even with 6 coats down here in Florida, mine failed due to bugs and maybe heat after 4 months.

Going to take it off and paint.

That did cross my mind and possibly just plastidip the whole cap. I really like the way you guys did it in red though. Might have to buy a couple more cans...This mod is supposed to hold me over until i get wheels...

Just my fingers but I think some of the videos showed some people using needle nose or other types of pliers.

When I derped my silver center caps black, I removed the emblems. I didn’t have to dremel anything. I just used the end of a wooden spoon to push the tabs out from inside the cap. After I derped the center caps, I just pushed the emblems back on.

Last three things you want to do to your truck, I did and it made all the difference in the world. I love my Bakflip and Pro Wheels.

What do you mean by "failed" ? I seen one guy from texas post a video with a follow up a year with small scratches but otherwise decent shape. Not too much rain so maybe there's several factors in that outcome.

What are you going to paint it with?

I think it looks great just the way it is as well. Nothing wrong with a bit of rake.

I'm hearing lots of good things about the Blizzaks. I'd love to see a pic of your Sienna with KO2s, sounds badass!

Got rid of a lot of the chrome and glare. Cup holder was not 100% successful, but it’s a truck right. The vents, start button and shifter were pretty easy though. Now on to the logo on the steering wheel. F’ed it up once already...

FOr the badges is that all plasti dip then cut and peeled around? Looks great. Thinking of doing mine. Rims look good also was gonna do mine except leaning toward buying stock steelies from the stealership.
