Engine stand arrived today, tomorrow I'm hoping to send it on body repairs and hopefully start laying body paint. I want to get paint done while it's warm out... Oil leak will be addressed next... Then slight build to make it ready for Moab and camping trips.

I think I'll give myself until the 2020 event to race in the Baja 1000.

Its a real shitty situation when something small like that happens and you have no power to stop it. Video looked exactly like what i went through...a seemingly small fire that seemed like something you could blow out but just kept spreading and slowly devoured everything.

Wish i could've pulled more out like he was able to but by the time i kicked into that mode the interior was full of toxic fumes that i only had to breathe in once to not attempt again.

 

Roommate found 2017 Pro with 13k miles for $36k... He wants me to come look at it with him tomorrow.

Wants to try and trade his 2018 4runner for it.

 

Is it taken care of?

 

What? Those little scrapes? I’m more curious how that happened.

 

I would make them buy truck at full, undamaged value, you don't want to touch that truck regardless of how "well" they fix it.

 

At least you didn't film it from multiple camera angles, could he of done more if filming wasn't his priority?
