Most of it should be fairly small, but I'd like to take some back to the trunk if I can, so there will be some larger diameter limbs.

And another summer has gone by! No mod days, trail rides, and only one meetup.I guess we all just live so far apart it’s hard to make it work. Most of us seem to do our own work as well so there goes that.

 

They arrived. They helped with the vibrations, but I still have a lot of wind noise.

 

Yea I never got rid of the noise completely but try to change up the position of them and you will find a sweet spot to get it to a decent level but that is definitely the curse of the windshield light bar I always said best and worst mod I ever did

 

Um, excuse me, we had a trail ride! I think hauling that tiger moth to the top of flag pole counts as a trail ride!

Well, before I left for my Connecticut trip, I didn't know what the laws were regarding aftermarket lighting in the various states I would be passing through, so I wrapped an old towel around the light bar and held it in place with strips of Velcro. Amazingly, that cut down on the wind nose significantly. The only problem was keeping the towel tucked up high enough so it didn't interfere with my wipers. I may try to construct a cloth cover that will hold itself in place with Velcro or a long zipper.

But somewhere during the trip, one of those rubber dampers fell off and is gone.
