    @sdsurfer Dirk, don't forget to bring the manual for your radio. It shouldn't be hard at all to setup. Just know that you MIGHT not be able to do "off-band" comms??? Most "respectable" HAM radio companies such as Kenwood, Yaesu, Icom, etc lock them into the HAM band freq only (i.e. for TX'ing). From there, you have to modify your radio to do otherwise. Radios such as Baofeng and such, what do they care about "American 'laws'"???!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA :laughing::laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl: Anyways, that is typical with most HAM radios that I've ever come across and dealt with... :thumbsup::fistbump:
