Had Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT in 265/75/16 (load range c) installed today. Super Quiet.

Have high expectations for this fall and hunting season.

Looks good Mark. Do you have any lift? I can’t remeber if you installed the billies yet.

    Thanks Carey.

No lift, but I do have the 4 leaf pack in rear that hasn't sagged at all. I had a fair amount of rake, so I did set the front 5100's that I had installed today to the . 85" setting. Gained about 1". Before there was 1.5" difference measuring hub to fender. So now I'm leveled out nicely.

You won't be disappointed. That size fills up the wheel wells nicely.

    Thanks.

No, I got them much cheaper from TireBuyer.
On sale, plus $70 rebate from Cooper, plus free shipping. The $ they were quoting was still much higher than what I paid, including installation.

Don's wouldn't install my front shocks (I bought Bilstein 5100's). Wanted all done at once, plus an alignment, so my dealer did all the work for a very reasonable price.

    Week 1 update/feedback.

No off-road use, but street (both highway and local roads) and driving in heavy rain are amazing. Tires balanced with very little weight and are smooth as silk, even at 80mph. Still amazed at how quiet these tires are...virtually zero road noise. Still playing with tire pressure. Started at 34psi and now down to 32. Really need to get some chalk to test properly. Will be hunting soon, so I'll provide an off-road report soon after.

I stayed on the fire road mainly this weekend, but the tires felt great so far. I do have a hole in the sidewall though. It looked like it was a soft spot in the rubber. I was able to rub the rubber off and it was crumbling in that little spot. Wasn't on any technical trails or anything so it couldn't have been trail damage. Could have just been a fluke

Great thing is though, Discount Tires Direct is going to take care of me and have a replacement sent out (gotta wait a few weeks though cause they're back ordered)

Got a set of 265/75r16 AT3 4S on Friday and immediately went for an off-road adventure on fortune creek trail to Gallagher Head Lake outside Roslyn, WA. These are the first a/t tires I’ve owned so don’t have a ton to compare to but I was impressed. My buddy I was with was in a 1st gen Tacoma with fairly well used 33” Toyo m/t’s and there were a couple spots on the trail where he was spinning his tires and I just crawled right through. On the road they are maybe a tiny bit louder than the highway tires I had before but definitely not bad at all. I stopped noticing it after five min. I’m one of the many who wants the ability to drive off-road but realistically spends 95% of my driving time on road, so I think these should be a great tire. Looking forward to seeing how they perform in the snow this winter.

I got them at Discount Tire, and was very impressed. Apart from forgetting to tighten the tpms sensors and having one leak and go flat (slight annoyance, but it happens. It was the end of a Friday.) I have no complaints. They price matched an online deal on the tires, gave me a great deal on replacement tpms sensors I needed, and stayed nearly an hour after their closing time on a Friday to get them installed. I’ll definitely be back.

I threw a set 265/75/16 AT3 4s on my truck about a month ago and they are great! I had set of the older ones on my last rig and they are really great tires especially when warranty runs to 65K.

I just had some AT3 LTs put on (265/75/R16 load C) and so far am very happy with them. Very quiet, definitely more control on gravel roads than stock goodyear wranglers, a ton of tread (16.5/32"), no noticeable change in MPGs, overall a super nice medium between a road mannered tire and something that can go offroad and in deep snow, mud, etc. My only question that I'm somewhat baffled by - I measured the height of these tires before and after mounting, and both times came up with 30.6". Cooper's website, (or any website for that matter that shows tire sizes), says that the diameter of a 265/75/R16 tire is 31.6". Can someone kindly explain what's going on here? Also, fwiw, I measured the diameter of the previous 265/70/R16 wranglers to be about 29.6", also an inch short to what the diameter for that size is listed. Are my eyes tricking me somehow?

The beauty about the Cooper AT3's is that they are LIGHT, and the 12-15lbs per tire will make a difference in MPGs
Some screenshots from the Discount Tire website below. You can see how much heavier the ST Maxx is although it's an awesome tire (a bit more meat)

Did you measure them on the truck? That’s my only guess, the weight of the truck is decreasing the height slightly by bulging the sidewalls. Otherwise, it wouldnt surprise me if the listed specs were wrong. I know in the world of mountain bikes, you can buy three tires that all claim to be 2.35” width and they’ll all be different.

Edit - sorry, just noticed you said you measured before and after mounting.

Got my XLTs installed today. Love the way the look. I’ll lost up a review once I get some miles on them. 2” icon lift with 285/70/17. 2018 4runner trail wheels. Got them at @Discount Tire Direct (America’s tire)
