I once rode from San Diego to Nellis AFB in Nevada in the “extra” portion of an Xtra cab. A good chunk of my childhood was spent in my grandfathers toyota pickup, which is where I developed my appreciation for the Toyota interior scent, which hasn’t really changed, and the whine of the manual transmission, which has kinda changed, though my first gen still has it. My grandfather liked all sorts of grandfatherly cars, with leather interiors, power err thang. But he told me to ALWAYS have a Toyota pickup on hand, and I always have.

If he were here now, I’d be like “yeah G-Pops I got TWO HOW YOU LIKE ME NOW”

Wish they would do a throwback nod and add those payload hooks on the bed again

Most graphs on here have the credibility of a weight loss info-animation
    It’s like... really though? REALLLY?

Really wish the access cab windows tipped out like they did on that 92. Toyota sure had the styling nailed on the older trucks.

Loving the pics of these old trucks. I’ve loved Toyota pickups from the first time I saw one. Love of at first sight if you will. One of these days I’ll get an 85-94 range pickup. I see them quite frequently up here in VT.

I was born in 87 so these trucks are before my time but I can remember falling in love with them when I saw Marty's truck in Back To The Future, so clean.

Do y'all remember how much BFG All Terrain tires cost back in the 80's?
