    I go to the one in Austin every year, I skip the other ones... especially San Antonio, I heard it's a big waste of time

    There are a few Heatwave shows, the main one is the Austin one. There is also Corpus, San Antonio and Houston

    hmm, I didnt know that. I have a buddy who goes every year and says its totaly worth going. I just dont wanna have to drive 4 1/2 hours to go to a car show

    Austin is worth going to... it takes hours to see everything and there is a lot of variety, the other good thing about it is there are 2 buildings that have cars inside of them as well so you can take breaks and escape the heat.

    I went to the heatwave last year and it sucked. It was all mall crawlers and lowered POS chevy 1500's.

    I definitely would have loved to see that long travel tacoma there! It wasn't there when I went...

    The key is to enter your truck into the show. It is the same price as a 1 day ticket. Along with entering your truck you get 2 passes for the whole weekend and you can bring your truck into the gates.
    I am planning on doing this and setting up a grill and having an ice chest of beer and water. Weekend long tailgate party.

    That truck is bad ass! They was a feature for Rock & Roll off road in Off road magazine a couple months ago & they did an artical on that tacoma.
