So once I get things together gonna install my small gps. Get a intercom where the blue is. Is here the ac and heater knobs are new system doesn't use it so figured might as well make it clean looking.

Truck is ready for the trip this weekend. Should be fun. It's been over 2.5 years since I driven a truck off road.

First trip with the truck wasn't as good as planned. But truck works amazing. Broke some stuff first day out but able to fix it enough to still drive it.biggest issue was the passenger side front 4wd axle came out partially and damaged some internal stuff in the front diff.pulled it and kept driving the truck.late Saturday night truck started to have a whine and believed it is the carrier bearing. But didn't fully check everything. Small issues but definitely put the truck through some rough stuff.plan to have issues fixed.thenget ready for another trip but in Lucerne most likely.

Anyone wants some full droooop lol.cleaned the truck to check out the damage.found some issues still have to check out the diff. Gonna change some stuff like rear spring rate a little and valve for the truck after next few trips. Once I get the truck back from solo after they fix and finish the truck then I'll pull the shocks and actually check everything on this bad boy.gonna carry spare parts and junk for all my trips now....

Solo did that to run the new vent hoses to the vents. Haven't really looked in the back but I'm sure they popped out the the old vents and ran the new hoses through to the new outlets. Need to get another adapter made to get the outer vents to get air as well. It's not the original ac unit so that has an effect as well.

So still waiting to drop the truck off at solo.moved the truck and drove it 7 miles and the driver 4wd axle came out as well.so I'm thinking maybe in full droop there is some binding of some sort. Hopefully drop the truck off SOON so it can get done before thanksgiving for a day trip or something. As of now truck just sits in the truck have to pull the drive shaft for the front diff to make sure it doesn't allow any metal shavings ruin the diff.
    IMG_1807.jpg IMG_1820.jpg
But I did purchase a muffler and interior carpet kit(black) so once truck is back will put the muffler on then talk to dirtskum for some aluminum work(few things). I think my idea will make it look a little more luxurious and cover all the wires/harnesses.

Since I'm just waiting figured I'd pull the truck out and fix the rear fender.rivets pulled out on the trip.put new ones on and also got new black fender washers fro the whole truck but back ones were wrong size lol I got 5/16 bolt and they are 1/4 I think.probably leave it or pull at the rivets and fit them in there. Was gonna buy a black grille but didnt want to waste money so decided to paint mine to see how it looks.probably be buying a new one(I really like it). Also pulled the front driveshaft just in case there is metal shaving in the diff from the axle issue. Still trying to figure out where to put the gps(a little tight on top of the dash.i want to keep the unit for the back up camera so can't go there.opened to ideas

Got the interior carpet.so should look a lot better inside, went with black.still so much to go to have the truck even close to what I want haha.just more money and time. Also got some jack stands to use for the back of the truck for safe work to pull the shocks and stuff.
    IMG_1445.jpgIMG_1447.jpg
Oh and I'll probably be driving the truck out to powderpuff race this weekend. Since still can't drop it off yet.

Drove the truck to powderpuff. Helped my aunt and little cousin and talked to Cody at M.O.R.E and he gave me a list of things to have done for next years race, the list is very small haha. My aunts class 1 was having brake issues. My cousin class 10 was ripping it around.

Honestly haven't adjusted it since I bought the truck. Planning on maybe upping the spring rate a little but I just want the truck to set level and it's almost there. Was planning on doing the interior and front stuff then working my way back. Plus also have to play with valving a little so figured I'd wait until I actually finish some of the expensive stuff I need to buy(intercom and some aluminum work)

Oh and if I remove the boxes in the rear it sets higher. I filled the two storage containers added the jack and it changed the ride height that much

Still waiting for a spot to open up to have the truck back up but finally bought my race radio and intercom and some other small things I needed to pass tech next rear at powderpuff for my wife to race the truck.still need some small things for that but not much. Also planned out my mounting solutions for the interior. Gonna get into contact with dirt scum for some aluminum work to make it all work. Hoping by end of January to have the truck where I have wanted it

Sorry to bring this up again since it got such poor reception before but how are those front axles in terms of mild driving conditions? Do you notice a lot of vibration through the front end when in 4wd on something like a dirt road at 40 mph for example?

No worries man. Unfortunately I wasn't able to test it out.during my first run the passenger side axle popped out before even trying the 4WD. Didn't get 20 min. I was too excited to get the truck going I didn't even engage it before that.sorry.once it's fixed I'm planning on taking it slow this time and testing it all out. I will get back to you with it.can ask me again later if I forget. I went out to really test the truck to see how it would hold up... and unfortunately getting a spot back in the shop is taking a lot longer than expected :annoyed::boink:
