Raised the front and back of my drivers seat one inch. Has made a huge improvement in both comfort and driving position. I just came from a Tundra and the Tacoma low seat has been killing my back and legs. Problem solved!
I’ve seen where others have raised the rear only, but this method raises both ends. And, let’s you retain the rear trim pieces.

If yours does not fit sideways you can get a header rail for stupid cheap from a 2nd gen at your local wrecking yard. I got one for like $15 at mine

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I am about to run the same setup! I was about to use the new ARB Lynx, as I liked the fit/finish ofnthe product and the overall functionality. Then I called up ARB USA with a question...

Me: “I have not seen this new product listed as Weatherproof, is it?”
ARB: “This product is unlike our competitors, in that it has sensitive parts that require this product to be mounted in the cab.”

What did he say?! You mean I have to run all my wires for everything into the cab of the truck!
These devices are made to make wiring and control of such accessories easy. Aka, leave it under the hood for install and run one main control lead into the cab.

So I am going back to installing the SPOD.

Ya I think the ARB unit is better if you're using their compressors. You would need a relay system as well as it's strictly a controller.

SPOD is a legit product too. SwitchPros are local to me in OC and I've met them before. They're literally family owned and operated. Their kids all work there.

Only issue with that is I believe my trifold tonneau would be in the way for using a header rail. Thanks for the tip.

Sucks you had a horrible experience at Gresham Toyota. Looks like you found your new go-to at Tonkin. -- I'm currently at Beaverton Toyota waiting for the 0062-18/0058-18 TSBs to be taken care of. I think I finally found an advisor who knows what the hell is going on. Fingers crossed.
