If you love traffic and high rent/home prices then Colorado is for you! The plus side is we have amazing trails here it just takes forever to get to them.

I can't lie, it's an awesome state and would high recommend it. To throw some input into your original question I would recommend sliders first before new skids. I did the opposite and wen't skids first and I've got some bruises on the rocker panel

The times I've traveled there on business, I noticed how beautiful it is. However, I also noticed the state has more than its fair share of yuppies.

I would go sliders first. Thinking is you already have basic skid plates underneath so I would get sliders checked off your list first. My OEM skids lasted me a while...once I had them dented and punched in I then went with the RCI skids and I have been very happy. Give a lot of confidence out there on the trail.

Sliders then skids. But I'd consider new tires before either.

Traffic, high home prices and trails too far away are not problem where I live. :D

Op, I would say sliders then skids. I did lift first then tires, now I'm saving for sliders.

Is there a lot of rock crawling trails around Colorado or is that more Utah?

I haven't been to Utah but I can say there are plenty here.
Check out https://www.trailsoffroad.com for really good trail info.

    Sliders .

I'll m going with them first based on lessons learned.

It may look a little goofy with stock tires and beefy sliders bit looks don't matter .
