Yeah, it was back in 2014 when wife and I were looking. I can't even tell you what the new ones look like.

 

I save the planet by modeling aquifer system compaction from groundwater withdrawal.

So when the crust splits and lava starts shooting up you will be there to dump a aquifer into the gap to stop the lava?

 

Normal car isn’t that bad. But the hatchback is ugly

 

I've seriously considered the Prius C (the small one) as a family car for my (soon to be) wife and I...people talk crap but you can't argue with those MPGs and it's a Toyota so I'd trust it over a cheap electric Chevy or something.

I get enough fossil fuel burning man points from my truck to balance out the scales if I were to buy a Prius lol...at least that's how I justify it.


Ideally I'd really like to get a Subaru Outback but it's just not in the cards financially right now unless we looked at something used.

I think if you put some truck nutz on the Prius, that would balance out your man points as well.

We looked at several different ones, and even the V seemed too small. I'm sure we could have made it work, but honestly the biggest thing for me was the spaceship like interior. I want a car, not a spaceship.

 

Rumor is Jeep is coming out with a 3.0v6 diesel in the new Jeep Wrangler. To bad Toyota refuses to see the obvious, that diesels in the U.S. sell.

 

They're cool, but if you already have a vehicle for off road, why get another one?

They don't sell all that well, though. That's partly due to the regulations being more concerned about the particulates per gallon burned, rather than the emissions per mile traveled.
