Finally put new sights on my nightstand pistol

    Trijicon HD with orange front

Got motivated because the gf needed night sights on her 23 so pulled OEM night sights off my 17 and popped them on her pistol and here we are

Does anyone have the Archon Type B? I haven't seen any 1st hand accounts as far as EDC goes. Hard for me to trust all the blogs and articles because most of the time the latest is the greatest. I'm really wanting to order 1 but dropping that kind of cash on a new product is not a gamble I'm ready to make.

Love those sights. Have the green front on my 17 myself. Keep thinking about swapping out my ftbullseye on my shield for another green front set. Awesome sights for sure!!

Frankly, and this is just personal opinion, but if you're handling guns (especially in a group) you should leave the beer out entirely, not just from the photos.

I agree but in our defense no one was drunk or even buzzed because everyone had to drive home that day. And my place is up on a mountain, it's a hell of a drive to do sober. I couldn't even imagine having to drive down the mountain with a beer buzz. And not everyone was shooting, some were just watching for a moment. Most guys were busy exploring the mountain in their rigs or on my atvs & SxS.

Lots of people forget them. In public restrooms, in their cars, in changing rooms, etc...

Meh. I'm of the opinion that mixing guns and alcohol leads to poor decision making.
To each their own, but if I'm at a group shoot and people start drinking, I start packing up. :notsure:

Not a bad mindset. I'm stuck somewhere between "if I can drive I can be safe with a firearm" and "alcohol does nothing good for thinking" myself. I'm sure the answer is different for everybody.

A little jealous. Not many places around here that are easy to get to for target shooting. I go to a range about 45 minutes away. Thought about going today, but had to work on some things around the house.
