    There have been times. Especially when working from home. I got a new laptop running Win 10 and office 365 about a year ago. Nightmares from day one, so many random things. I have screamed out loud. Then we just merged our 25k employee company with a 50k employee company, and we get their IT. I think this is their integration plan:

    I’m all about them self helping themselves. We have a litany of tech tips and a link on the desk top. Everything from “how to set your out of office” to “digital signatures on pdf’s” and how to sign on to the computer and yet people still come up and ask questions.

    My best one to date is a voicemail password reset for a customer. I reset their VM password and emailed them the new password. The response was “it’s asking for my mailbox number and the number sign. What is my mailbox number and the # sign?”. Yes, the customer asked what the # sign was after clearly indentifying it in his question.

    We are an all volunteer staff of 12 with jobs, families and hobbies managing thousands of threads and tens of thousands of posts a day. Shit gets missed...and in some cases ignored cause we felt it wasn’t severe enough to deal with it. A lot of times, we just delete posts where people are being fucktards towards each other.
