Off-Roading with your Daily Driver?

Yeah, probably so but they pulled me off backwards and I just hit it a little faster so I skipped across the top

 

stock with sliders and skids is extremely capable

 

On a side note, what front bumper is that? Is it the pelfreybuilt? It looks great

I've landed on my frame too going up a hill . It was to steep to hit it sideways. Before the winch. Had to stack rocks due to going solo . Whoops.

 

I’m not really into off roading, and also bought a TRD-OR to do some light off roading with some friends and family that also want to try it. This picture is not what I would consider light off roading, I will definitely not be taking my brand new stock truck over that. Other than that it looks like you are getting some good advice here! I’m kind of in the same boat, maybe I want a 2” lift and some 33’s and keep it like that. Or maybe just better stock Size tires.

 

I guess by light I meant not often. Places around here aren't usually mud and sand - they are rocks. Only variable is size of the rock. I stick to trails that generally don't have 12" + rocks all over but I did take my month old (at the time) truck on a trail near Grand Lake that a fair number or rather large rocks. Probably won't do that again. Pretty hairy trail.

I'm pretty much decided to get sliders and 265/75/16 tires first. Will mess with suspension later when I have money.

 

Lol body lift is for bigger tires too. But go with a suspension/spindle lift youll be surprised how nice it rides
