Finally found a decent campershell with a windoor! Really wanted dual windoors in black or green but after two years of looking at junk on the market for a 17 year old truck I gave in and got this one. The silver actually isnt terrible but im debating vinyl wrapping it black and added some to the cab roof over the clear coat degradation and maybe a retro pattern to the hood

That sounds just like my truck. First it was the camper shell and then a roof rack and aux fuel tank and then sleeping platform and fridge and dual batteries then sliders and then skid plates and then a bumper and then a winch.

With each addition the truck gets a little slower.

Anybody have any tips on windshield replacement? Mine has a pretty bad crack that has migrated beyond ignorable status...

I can’t seem to get the “Safelite repair, Safelite replace” jingle outta my head, but I’m guessing there’s more options out there?

Mine is cracked too. Waiting for the next paycheck for a replacement.

Safelite quoted me 390. Local shop that has delivery and mobile install quoted me $180. There are definitely more options.

Don’t know what your insurance deductibles are but mine through AAA is $100 for a new windshield. They use Safelite and have replaced two for me so far. Great service and no issues since. Also if you have AAA premium, you can get back $50 once a year on windshield replacement.

Yeah worth checking into and doesn’t mess with your rates since it’s not collision.

I have both of those. My windshield is super pitted. I wonder if they’d replace due to all the pitting.
