Glad your ok man, sore is totally normal. Bummer the truck is done looked clean. Can't believe no airbags deployed! Assuming the '06 has curtain airbags, but you would think in a rollover something would...

I took her to an auto body shop.

That Cadillac was driving fast and excessive, rear ended that Civic you see on its side (was on its back but we flipped it on its side cause someone was pinned). Rear ended so hard the Civic hit the jersey barrier, and flipped... while flipping it landed on the back and hit me from behind. Oh and the at fault driver didn’t have insurance.

There were no serious or life threatening injuries that I know of.

I have USAA, comp & collision, and uninsured motorist protection.

The auto body shop is willing to try and total it but they aren’t sure if it’ll reach that high. Any advice is welcomed!
This is my first accident, so it was a good one... I’m just thankful I wasn’t cruising on my bike!!!

    Pics for your time

Continuing my auxiliary panel overhaul. Bought a Blue Sea safety hub to use as a distro off the battery to reduce clutter. Dremeled a plastic NoCo 27f battery box into a “new” battery tray to mount the blue sea safety hub. Tomorrow I need to then swap some connectors out from the firewall and then plug n play everything. As well as run leads from the battery to smart hub then smart hub to my Bussmann panel.

The safety hub has 4 ATO type fuses plus 3 MIDI type fuses so has room for expansion.

I need to make or buy a new battery hold down. The NoCo tray sits higher than stock and my already extended length aftermarket J-bolt wouldn’t reach so I had to hack my polycarbonate hold down :(

yes to all above..as an example xd9000 winch pulls 460 Amps at full load, nice to have extra storage....also set up with a smart relay the system will drop 1 battery out when there is a draw on the system with nothing being generated/replaced...ie you will never have 2 dead batteries.

Is that Polycarbonate strong enough to hold the battery?
    (after the grind down).
