Agreed. But they are two totally different vehicles and though the Pro is capable the Raptor is insane, I've had the luxury of getting to play with my Dad's on a few family road trip / vacations. And agreed, I'll never be able to afford one. But for him it's his Corvette and he can afford one and then a few more lol.

The numbers that I saw have the approach, breakover, and departure angles right where the non-Pro Tacos are without the air damn. The HP/TQ numbers sound nice, but not MT and too many other gizmos for my liking. It will be interesting to see them out on the roads.

I have a coworker that has a 17 Raptor and it's definitely a nice truck. It rides nice, but here's the thing. It's huge. Like others have said, not just tall, but very wide. I'm sure that's fine in the wide open Baja-styled trails, but for what we might call traditional off road trails, it's less than ideal.

That is pretty much it. More like a mid-cycle refresh that we happen to finally get.

For what a Raptor sells for here in UT with the demand markups and stuff though, I could:

    Buy a Tundra
LT the hell out of it
    LS Swap
    Still come out ahead

    or:

    Buy a tacoma
    Backhalf it + LT
    Supercharger
Still come out ahead and still fit in regular parking spaces

I just ride in my coworkers all the time, and let him foot the bill :D

You can't compare those 2 trucks. The Raptor is a F-150 a full sized truck. Compare it to a Tundra TRD 4X4.

Your answer is in the question. The F150 is a full-sized pick-up. It's an apples and oranges comparison in my opinion.

Not really. Have you wheeled one? Or agressively wheeled a 3rd gen?

Raptors at $70,000 is a total rip-off,and I am also a Ford fan.

Raptor doesn’t fit between the trees where I drive, so it’s capabilities are moot for me. However, I hear you get a free ballcap and a sixer of Bud Light when you buy one, so that’s pretty cool.

Yes. Fat ass would get scratched to high heaven.

Believe it or not I drove Tom Cruise’s stunt man’s truck. He had the 6.2 gen 1
