Actually, wrong. The ONLY place to buy the design from the ORIGINAL DESIGNER AND CREATOR -maybe you missed that part- is on the forum link and Etsy shop I provided tonight.

I have no interest speaking publicly about this matter. I don't know who you are other than someone who has sold my design for months without my knowledge or consent. We have not bothered you or commented on your forum, so please refrain from doing so here.

What will best match the 18 OR wheels. Glossy or matte? i would think glossy but it seems that more people get matte?

I got matte and from 15ft away you can’t tell they dont match.

 

I personally like matte black and think its a better match to the wheel. The glossy black is more of the "end of the color spectrum black" to where the matte is going to fall into a "lighter black" color area. Also, the matte finish is very similar to the finish of the actual wheel.

 

That vinyl will peel of with any sort of “use”. just get a small can of oil based black paint (I used rustoleum brand) tape the wheel off and paint them with a 2” mini roller brush (HD has them). Holds up to all sorts of abuse

 

Like all vinyl cleaning the surface really good as well as ur hands will make all the difference in the world! Never had one come off or peel on its own! I put 3000 psi pressure with the 15 degree tip about 4 inches away all around multiple times just to test them and they never failed! Mud, summer heat, winter cold never an issue.
But your right! Paint is probably more durable over the years but if you don’t sand the wheels all the way and do all your prep it will end up looking like the plasti-dip rashe

 

This is an upclose matte black example. Part of the wheel is in the sun while the other part is in the shade. The photos @sxe4533 added in the original post were of the glossy black so I figured an example of the matte black would help give a better idea of the difference between the two finishes that I offer.

Anyone having issues with them staying on the wheels? Anyone had them a while that can comment? I would like to get these but that’s my only concern.

 

My husband, @sxe4533, put his on August 2017 right before he created this thread and they lasted through every season without any issues. As long as you take our recommended steps when applying the decals then you should not have any problems with them coming off. The ONLY reason we ever needed to replace one was when we did a tire plug at Walmart and they scratched one decal-which protected the actual rim like a book cover! We provide free extras in every order that you can keep on hand if you ever need to swap one for any reason. You can always message me if you ever need more extras or have any issues.

I've had them for a couple of thousand miles with no issues (other than user installation errors).

 

When purchasing through Etsy you will have the option to choose your "wheel decal color" which is either matte black or glossy black. The "letter/image" drop down menu is where you can choose the color you want your center cap inlay letters or image to be. During checkout, there is an option to write 'a note to seller' box if you have a special request or want to make sure I understand what you want. I see this note every time I look at your order!

If purchasing through Ebay, we have different listing for the matte black and glossy black wheel decals. The standard color for the center cap inlay letters will be red on Ebay, but you can write a note to seller or message me if you want to request a different color.

 

Just installed. Wish I had a little more patience but they look great. Some air bubbles but hoping they will work themselves out.

Mine held up great. Still like new. It’s dirty don’t clean my truck often lol it’s a truck. Great product. Highly recommend. Just follow the instructions .
