There's a wire harness that taps into the headunit which has an RCA video connector attached to it for the front camera only.

Good question! You just need a DPDT for an all in one switch, so from there you can find one with a different font. I can’t remember if mictuning has a different one or CH4x4

Worked like a charm today. Easily hit the switch while driving and my wife was able to enter the destination. GPS functionality is paused. So, if you are sitting on the default navigation screen, it will look like you aren't moving. I'll test this more, but it was true for about 2 blocks before I told her to try to input a destination.

So, for normal use when you are driving and need to change the destination or add one to the current route:
    • Hit the switch
    • Search/Enter destination
    • Hit Go
    • Flip the switch back to off position to start the route/resume navigation.

Well after trying 4 cameras, I found one that I like and works as it should: HD Car Rear/Side/Front View Camera YM-606, YIMU 170° Viewing Angle Auto Reverse Parking Vehicle Backup Camera Waterproof with 4 Infrared LEDs Night Vision & One Button Control System https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072KQG664/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_e7xOBbK14HCPX

This camera is just a little bit larger than the Chuangunzhu camera, but has the same form factor (Yimu on the right.

The Yumi camera requires programming the settings via a single button which can be a little tricky to figure out as the instructions are not very clear.

You program the different modes by rapid button presses.

To change the image requires 2 rapid button presses, repeated twice. That sequence will change from mirror image, to upside down, to normal (which is what you want for a front camera).

You will also need to change the image system (3 rapid buttons presses)

I also changed the guidelines from the default.

    Pretty cool camera for $18!

The Yimu camera does not interfere with the TSS either.

Yeah I couldn’t fit mine there because I never got the garnishment for the TSS, sensor works just fine but not enough room for the camera dead center

Found an added benefit to the navigation override switch... you can look through contacts instead of relying on the recent call list. Nice bonus. I'm sure there are more.

I read enough to say “damn it! <spends money> Now I have to tag this thread to come back and read more fully.”

It would be nice to get a push button with a rotator. One that cycles through three connections. Maybe I’ll order a clean one button too, heck it’s only $15, and see which I prefer.

Just an update. Loving this setup.

I use the front camera mainly to give me confidence while parking. I pretty much laugh when i park and see how close i am... and that i did it on purpose because i can.

I wish the switch's LEDs were actually white, not an off white. It was a little difficult to find once, but I'm learning to find it by feel.

I'll keep an eye out on another switch and watch as you guys show off the AoB switch. For now, my switch is good, but maybe it can light up and be better.
