Have u been able to compare it to oem? I'm just wondering if the material looks any different like that cheap Chinese plastic look?

I’ve taken mine to the dealer and parked it next to a pro, even up close it’s hard to tell the difference. Step 10 feet away and it’s almost impossible.
I’ve had my grill for nearly two years and it’s still holding up with no issues.

BUT I’m biased because I’m selling it so take that for what it’s worth.

I haven't had it side by side to compare. To be honest, it wouldn't even bother me if it were slightly different than OEM. It achieves the look that I'm going for and it doesn't feel or look cheap to me. Now will it hold up like an OEM one is supposed to... time will tell. I'm sure after one winter here in nj where they start salting the roads at the hint of a flurry I'll have that answer.

Yeah I’m in San Diego weather is not exactly what you would call harsh...
it does get a lot of sun exposure... and there’s no fade so far...

Exactly. I don't need a "Pro Grill" but I'd like it to say "TOYOTA" in place of the stylized "T".

It was a lot easier ordering one of these, probably less expensive, and looks better than the one that I made for my 80.

    Just got my order in.
Very excited. Thanks for the great work.

Quick question about the TSS stuff. The little part in the grill just comes out and the the grill cover from ebay just screws in? how does that work?

The part in the center comes off very easily but the two pins on the top side have to be cut or broken apart, on the oem version they have a little lockwasher kind of thing that holds it in place. These have the pins fused but all you need is a little xacto knife, I’m pretty sure you could also just give the pins a hard tap and they would come off.
The garnish fits right in but you need to buy the washers separately I believe, I don’t have an 18 so I haven’t bought those washer but what I’ve done is thread the pins on the garnish as install an actual nut,
As you may have noticed I have that option on the site now, I know it’s more expensive than the eBay garnish but it will come installed and you don’t have to buy any extra parts.

Is it just me or is the "T" and the "A" larger than all the other letters?

It kind of looked that way to me too, but thought maybe it was just me. Hard to tell if its just weird angle/lighting in some photos and not in others. I notice it on some of the pics folks have posted here to show off their install. Yet when I look at the product images on the ordering website, they all look the same size.

I'm curious though since I've been eyeing this grille... yet, now the T and the A stick out like a sore thumb to me. Not sure if it's related, but those T & A end letters seem to mount different/are molded in different, than the "OYOT"?
