I'm quite okay buying a used car. I didn't buy a used Tacoma because I could never find a fair deal on a used one.

Wish I could’ve found a good deal. Used with 20k+ miles was maybe $2k less. That’s 2-3 years of driving for me. Just didn’t make sense.

Depends on where you live and how hard ya dig. I'm currently searching for a Taco now,saw a few nice used ones for decent prices, but I really wanted to go as new as possible. Take your time and keep searching.

I purchased a 2018 TRD Sport 4x4 DBC with technology, predator boards, hard 3 piece tonneau cover on Aug 31. and got what I feel is a great deal, with a trade in of a 2015 Wrangler JKU. Its original inservice date was 5-13-18, original owner leased it and turned it back in on July 3, 2018 with 1500 miles on it. To me the truck was basically brand new, still has the new car smell, lol. Paid 32k for it. No dealer around (NC) could get me a price on the same truck new. All used 2016-18 with similar options/setup were still 1k-2k above that price and had many more miles. Dealer wouldn't budge on their price but gave me exactly what I wanted/needed for my trade. I feel it was a great deal.

I bought a 17 MGM dblc lb sport with 28k this may it came with Nav and tube running boards. I paid 30k in California seems to be about as good as it gets. I figured was decent for all the bells and whistles for Sr5 price. I came from a first generation I bought new in 03 was still running strong with 196k when a young distracted driver totaled it. It ended up being a great truck for the price

Bought a used 18 Pro last month, right here in the TW BST forum. 7K miles for 39K. I had to fly and drive back 1000 miles, but worth it to me. Reasonable deals are out there.

Yea. It really helps to have a cousin in law as a salesman. I got extended warranty, not like I need it... it’s a Yota, but it covers my tires. Which I have used already. Haha. So awesome.

This, used 1-2 years on tacoma is almost always better to go new.

This is what I did. I purchased a 2017 TRD Sport which was the dealerships vehicle assigned to them from Toyota. It had under 3000 miles on it. I think I got a good deal as they reduced the price by $6500.00. The dealerships get on every year as their service vehicle so it might be something to check out.
