I'd leave it until something goes wrong - haven't heard of too many people in the area with that problem. Could be a can of worms.

Can anybody tell me if the tacoma spindles cross over with FJ? These are 2015 tacoma spindles. Not sure what that dust cap in the middle is for either. Can I just knock out the caps and use them for my 4wd hub? Need to find some spindles to do over my gussetts on my 07 FJ. It uses the same brake rotor/pads so I assume the brakes are the same.

man I really miss my long travel tundra, I'm trying to get my gf to agree to letting me go long travel on my new 2018 haha. I think if I do I'm just having BTF do everything. They did my last tundra. The other side of me just want to toss some coilovers on and call it a day.

You're talking about the UCA ball joint right? Oops I meant fit theFJ. FJC and 4r are same size balljoints right? I'm pretty sure I can interchange 4R upper control arms.

Yeah uca balljoint. I’m not sure on fj to T4r interchangeability. I alway just reference Toyota one part numbers for confirmation on those types of things.

I'll never understand why T4R, Taco and FJ aren't the same, within equivalent generations/years.

I've delt with production lines, so I'm sure there's a reason, but that BS is a real slip in design for maintenance.

I want to say its a 12". The lower mount is slightly lower than the stock one. Not sure if it rubs. I saw it after he did one lap on the dunes. Seeing it out of the box it was much better than coils and king 2.5 stock replacement. He is a cool guy ask him on IG.

I put a uni filter on my pump, and took the foam one out. It was deteriorating a little, but my truck lives most of its live around salty/damp Beach air. One thing though, you may have a hard time passing smog as techs look at the uni filter and see that it’s not Oem.

I’d keep checking yours and replace with the uni filter once it starts to deteriorate. Keep the plastic cap thing (part that uni filter replaces) for smog in the future..

Anyone have any thoughts on valving for a truck with 3k# on the back axle, with an appropriate HD leaf pack, and no bypasses?

The standard 15/12 from King isn't cutting it at the mall or on the trail.

Hey fellas, I have a question that's not exactly long travel related, but how necessary are shock tower gussets if you're not doing high speed runs or jumping?

Are the stock coil buckets decently strong for most mid travel stuff? I'm not long travel and I don't do crazy stuff with my daily driver truck but I like the idea of it being as strong as possible.
