From my experience with insurance companies once you allow them to take a vehicle that they want to total you give up everything. It will sit in their lot, which is normally not protected. any accessories or nice wheels will be missing when you go to get it back. Take anything off/out of the vehicle you want to keep now before they get their hands on it.

Everyone I know of who totaled their vehicle allowed the insurance to take it to their lot while they worked out the payment thing. The guys who wanted to buy them back and ended up buying them back had a ton of stuff stolen from their vehicles. One guy lost all 4 wheels/tires and the stuck steelies on it to return it. Radios, speakers, lights all grow legs and walk off. The guy that lost his wheels the insurance company tried to say thats the way it was when they got it so he had to take them to court with pictures of it getting loaded on the truck to take to their lot to prove it had the wheels on it when it left.

Good to know, no I did not list them with my policy. We’ll see hopefully I can. Ridit Industries light bar, fogs and that Pelfreybilt Bumper & Wet Okole sweat covers will be nice to sell out or use on my next vehicle

Definitely poor choices caused that one.
Unfortunately... or fortunately for me the canopy is what took the brunt of the impact and the fiberglass is snapped on the driver side corner by the back glass and is bent to all holy hell

Ah very interesting okay, I have plenty of pictures from the accident so at least I have those. This body shop seems legit and we built a pretty good relationship so they should be okay with me pulling things

    Yeah it’s drivable
Not 100% sure but the auto body shop will probably write it into their estimate/assessment

Take your added stuff it doesn’t increase the value on a Total. If you have the stock stuff put it in a box on the back seat. It will go to auction and some wrecking yard will make all profit on your mods. Insurance gives you low book value if that. Sue the pig or the owner,LOL

Did the A/C clutch meltdown replacement and serpentine belt while i was in there. I think it was the original belt. 146,646mi. It's got some solid cracking on the grooved side. I'll throw it in the jack area in case i ever need it.

Black cat customs. Was a long wait time after ordering before they could actually make it but a very nicely done piece when I got it.

Need to take apart gauge cluster and remove needles to remove old graphic plate and swap with the new one. Had to pull apart a second time to adjust speed needle as it was slightly off after initial install

I dont know how it ended up if he got money out of it or not but I am sure the insurance company made it drag out as long as possible so he would loose more money in lawyer fees than the parts were worth.
