The glue is melting on both my driver side and passenger side inner door seal? Any thoughts? 10k miles and it’s falling apart. They don’t make them like they use to.

Mine is exactly the same. Been that way a while, doesn't seem to be getting worse just that one little spot.

My wife’s 2015 Dodge Charger has molded rubber for interior trim. It’s separating from both sides of the center console and the window sills on all 4 doors and looked warped. We are pissed. This starting happening at 39,000 miles and out of warranty. Will cost like 2800 bucks to fix it. I tried all avenues with Dodge to fix it and they pretty much said “NO!” With a capital F! So I said fine, your vehicles are shit anyways, when we trade it, it won’t be a for another F$&@#*% Dodge.

I used Gorilla glue to hold them down and so far they are holding. We’ll see how long it lasts but hoping to trade it before it gets worse.

Yep noticed mine too. Didn't bother me enough to make an appointment with service advisor, but next oil change. God I'm so sick of getting little things on this truck fixed under warranty. I'm starting to think I would have been better off with the FCA product (2018 Rubicon).

What happened to the quality of Toyota? I never had problems with my 2nd gen besides the actuator going out. I’ve had this truck for 9 months and have had 3 TSB/warranty fixes.

I'm starting to get a little nervous myself. I had my 2nd gen 13 years and had zero issues. The 3rd gen is sitting at the dealership now for the 2nd day in a row with less than 3k on the odometer. I'm confident they'll take care of me. But I just want a reliable vehicle I can trust.

Totally agree. My 2nd gens were amazing, out of the 3 I owned, only 2 warranty claims over a 6 year period. My 3rd gens on the other hand, seems I'm finding something every other day. Sure Toyota has fixed it, but dosent change the fact that it causes one to wonder what else as time goes on.

I'm at just over 10k miles and a year of ownership.

Not a single issue, and I'm not really concerned about the door seal at this point, it doesn't leak and it's not getting any worse.

You're at 10k should be under warranty right? I'd take it to the dealership and have them fix it
