Hello! Anyone else have this happen? I feel stupid but I can't find any good spot to push it back in. Haven't hit anything...just noticed it after coming back from dealer service.

I just bought my new truck last night and saw this happening today morning.
    Weird.

I pushed it in but it does not seem to click in very positively. I’m sure it’s going to keep popping out.

Not a big deal for me. I still love my Taco.
I guess I’ll glue it in place or figure something out.

Same. Bought in May with 8 miles and already like that. Common issue it seems. Wait until you notice the rear bumper gap. Oops. I mean, don't look.

Every one I’ve ever seen does this to some degree or other , if it doesn’t get any worse I can live with it , if it keeps opening up I was thinking of trying some RTV or silicone sealant on the back side of the tabs .

I must admit , I liked my chrome metal back bumper on my 2nd gen better than this composit/plastic one . But I still love the truck overall

Thanks for posting this. I have always wondered about this. Mine looks like that too. I noticed it after my first real wheeling trip and my first touchless car wash so I always assumed it was due to one of those.

    Damnit y’all.

Saw this thread, went and looked, and yup, mine too! On both sides. 32 thousand dollar truck and this? Makes me wonder if my doors are gonna fall off! Grrrrrrr. Also noticed my fog light trim is loose as hell. Wtf??

For a 36 million dollar truck you would think the cheap plastic would be less cheap

Shouldn’t be any “cheap” plastic. Can you get any cheaper than cheap though? But on a “36 million” dollar truck, the bumpers can be cheap as they want! Because they would be made of gold, unless it’s toyota. It would be “fools” gold probably ...
