    Just bought a Hobart 140. Need some PPE. @Bentrodder. Noticed one hat for welding and one for grinding. Anything you recommend to keep myself from catching fire?

    Don’t ask @Bentrodder for PPE recommendations I’ve seen him weld he says the hoods all suck so he just squints and the clothes all eventually burn out so he just welds naked. o_O (He also told me he cooks bacon naked as well:crazy:)

    My grind hood is just an old welding hood with a clear lens. I really like Millers new hoods and lenses. I just got a new Jackson for work and it’s meh, shoulda got another Miller.
    As far as catching on fire, you get used to it. :bananadead:

    Get a nice auto dimming helmet. Goes light for grinding and dark for welding. Thats what i use
