It's a pile of shit though haha, but I traded a car that hasn't ran in 8 years and had mice living in it, so whatever. Has the cool 80's louvers for the back window

I hate the 405, it will always be bad & will continue to get worse. Even if you don't live in this area you guys might remember "carmaggedon" during the project when they were widening the fwy. After all that it didn't make no damn difference, just allows more cars on the fwy, traffic won't get better!

They have a saying, it's called the 405 cause you only move 4 or 5 miles per hr.

You're very right that adding lanes will not help traffic, but conversely make it worse. Very interesting video on it here.

Lol seriously. I'm so lucky that every job I've had in my lifetime I did not have to commute during rush hour traffic, not to get to & from work anyway.

Another thing that I hate & I'm sure everyone knows, is when there's an accident, traffic caused by idiots looking at the accident. In Japan there are barriers on the highways, you can't even see the other direction of traffic.

I remember when I was a kid we used to have these plastic planks that blocked most of your view of the the other side. I guess they were a hazard cause they were flimsy, none of that exists here anymore.

I-80 N through Emeryville right past the Bay Bridge exchange has those plastic planks. They've degraded so much over the years, they stopped caring about them. You can see straight through now.

Interesting fact is our local interstate serving the East Bay (I-880) demolished all the center dividers in favor of building taller ones to prevent rubbernecking and headlight blinding. They're six feet tall now instead of three.

You have them on that interstate by you. They're almost all gone.

I didn't even notice them when I was up there a couple of weeks ago. Haha. Traffic up there is pretty bad too. I had to drive to & from SF to Alemeda & Berkeley everyday. The I-80 sucks!

I-80 goes all the way to Maryland! It begins in San Francisco, CA and ends in Ocean City, MD.
