I did the same thing you did, and you're right, there is almost no room to work with. At least you got your A/C back! I am glad the parts fit your truck! Did you replace the bearing as well?

That sound is from the A.I.R. injection pump, it pumps air into the exhaust the heat up the cat. converters faster.

 

No, Popped the face off, brushed out all the rubber gunk...wiped it down with liquid silicon on a rag, hit it with canned air and put the new one on...I think you'd have to pull the whole front side of the compressor on a 2.7L engine to get at that ring that is hell to get in and out when you do the bearing...

Oh, okay. I've seen a LOT of photos of the Impreza wagons having no strut towers left. It's scary.

 

I never had that happen on my old one, but this one I bought because it just needed mechanical work (which is almost done).

Going to try whiteline lca bushings and new lbjs, but I think my truck needs a new steering rack

My 99 Jeep has 112k on it.....
Charger is 5 years old, and has 62k I think(or thereabouts, I dont drive it often).

Had a nice night last night....
Gonna roll to lowes for some project materials... and maybe do something with everyone later. Or just pull out the Trek.

 

17 STI has 17k on it (only driven from April to October).
2007 FJ has 181k. I bought it with 130k 3.5 years ago.
My old 2000 impreza had 107k when I bought it and I sold it with 119k half a year later.

Just hit 64k and need a tie rod, haven't actually worked on a car in four years so we will see how sloppy o ve gotten LOL
