If you live in socal you gotta try pretty hard to have a police officer give you a fix-it ticket under the hood.

Also, the inclinometer looks pretty cool at night. I used the ashtray backlight to instead light this.

 

I think I’m going LCE clutch. Street clutch kit. What flywheel should I buy ?

 

I'd think twice - @Russianman92 had a clutch friction plate get separated from the part that grabs the input shaft splines after a short time - I have an LCE clutch in my project truck I bought before I saw his. If I had seen it prior to that I would have not got it. FYI they're made by clutch masters.

 

LCE are one of the few guys that don't rape me on shipping, maybe something from rock auto? I'm honestly thinking going Aisin OEM

can I get a price check on what a used oem passenger taillight is worth?

The ebay replacements are about $35

 

I love waking the neighborhood on a Sunday morning.

 

No. For one, it tends to pop the breaker if its used via extension cord. I always unplug it from the wall outlet once its full so it doesnt scare me if it kicks back on when Im under the truck. That and I usually use the outlet for other tools too during a job. Always drain the tank after I'm done. My grandpa never did and I drained 3-5 gallons of rust water out of it when I got it.

 

That thing isn't going to wake anyone try firing up the Stihl next time

 

This thing is far louder than my poulan. I can attach an air hammer, would that do it?

 

Any tricks on getting the flange to separate?

Got it. Roofing hammer was the heaviest I had. Next paycheck is getting me a 4lber

 

I feel like I dont need to remove the front shaft. Its in gear, is it ok to just put the impact on and give it the beans while its still attached?

 

Yeah if it in gear right? I just dont wanna screw up the tranny

 

Guess what I noticed...
Yup, thats a screwdriver through a hole in my frame. Its an 04 and the PO had it sprayed in 2010. I may just put this shaft back on and have Toyota swap the bearing during the frame swap. Great... Oh and I think I can make it bigger too.
