Would a ext cab seat belt fit a double cab driver side

    hey guys need ur help on this one trying to find a driver side sit belt for my DC but a member here as one but from ext cab any one knows if this one would work on my rig ? Same color and the buttom on the top to adjust is the same to :fingerscrossed:

    I would run it by some online toyota site to see if the part #'s match between the ext and double cab's.

    No. They do not fit. The bracketry is different.

    I did check the part numbers but they are apart by one digit .

    I got a price from Gunny but was not ready to spend $194 yet was trying to find it here for a bit less .

    Umm, no. I had a pair of xtra cab SB's for sale, and had to refund the guy with the double cab. Also they're even different through the years. ie, my 04 seat belts wouldn't fit a 99. Both Xtra cabs. I believe the connector for the explosive charge in the tensioner was different. But it may of not had the correct bracket too. I've forgotten.

    I wouldn’t cheap out on a safety feature like that.

    The newer trucks have the explosive pretensioner. Older trucks don’t. The brackets changed every few years.

    Not trying to cheap out just checking on options .

    So in conclusion need to save my beer money for a new belt now :annoyed:

    Damm toyota got to love those guys

    Seat belts will go a long way if you extend them then wash them every few years. Probably more often if you're a greasy, bare chested lumberjack.
