Is that a preventive measure on these trucks? Doesn't seem like a bad idea, they get frozen ?

They don't grease them from the factory so they seize in the bushings after a few years. Then you can't adjust alignment or remove without cutting the lca out. Good times.

Doing stinky things

 

NOPE! Sawzall and new arms with bushings. The total chaos lower control arms look worth it.

 

Ya but they're like $1600... Plus I don't want uniballs. A little elbow grease to get the old out and then just need to have new poly bushings pressed in.

 

Cons about uniballs? Did you use a ball joint press for pressing the new ones?

 

Pro tip: stock Jack handle is weaksauce

Only place I've found gator up here, was Bubs, on RT116 in Sunderland. Fried gator tail..... so good.

But, been ages since I've been there, so....

 

They don't stand up well to all the damn salt and chemicals.

I haven't pressed any new ones in yet. I just removed the old for now. Still need to sawzall out the inner sleeves.

Just got back from Maryland. Crab in some form for 3 meals straight. Dinner was flounder stuffed with crab meat, it was awesome!

 

The auto road closed at 5pm but they set it up for us to start up around 5:45. We had the summit to ourselves and it was incredible. If you have never been up, you need to go.

 

Was inspired.

 

We took the cog rail up around this time last year was about 60 at the base and wind chill of around 19* when we got to the summit. Super Windy with frozen mist and zero visibility. I took a shot of the weather monitor at the top; it’s lost in the cloud somewhere.
So surreal.

Jealous, didn’t make it there this year. last I saw of Browns it was under water.

 

New tool chest workbench, needed more room on my rack to store baby stuff and parts. Yes those are OME leafs poking out from underneath lol
